"Vida Glow is a 100% Natural Marine Collagen Supplement. Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies, amounting up to 70%. Until our mid twenties, our bodies naturally produce collagen. As this production slows and eventually stops completely, we begin to see the effects of aging. Replenishing collagen levels will help increase the building blocks that maintain our hair, skin and nails."
What is collagen?
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, making up approximately 70% of the protein in our bodies. Collagen is essential for skin structure and density. As the fibroblasts cells responsible for producing collagen naturally decrease due to aging, the visible signs of aging become more prominent. Collagen is naturally present in our skin, joints, tendons, muscles and ligaments. [x]
What is marine collagen?
Vida Glow Marine Collagen is a fibrous protein extracted from the scale of salt-water fish. Marine collagen can be derived from fish scale or skin, Vida Glow uses the scale, as this is richer in nutrients and collagen protein. Japanese women have used marine collagen as secret weapon for a youthful radiance for many years. Studies showing the benefits of taking marine collagen are plentiful. Being a 100% natural product, Vida Glow contains no artificial flavours, colours, additives or preservatives. It is also free from wheat, gluten, allergens, soy, lactose, dairy, sugar, carbs and fat. As a contrast to the previous complete black outfit, I went with a light, pastel, and airy look for today's outfit. I've decided that it's a bit too soon to be wearing the autumn looks that I want to wear because it's still summer weather (if not hotter) in the Bay Area. With that being said, crop tops and skirts get to stay in my closet just a bit longer until the weather remembers that it needs to get cooler! I paired this high waisted lavender skirt with my favorite DIY Arctic Monkey's shirt to make into a cute outfit that I could wear seamlessly from a day out with my girl friends to a casual dinner party with the relatives without over or under dressing for each event.
The dinner party was in celebration for the mid autumn moon festival, so we got to light some paper lanterns and play around with them. Mickey, being bored and creative as he was, wanted to take some pictures with the lanterns, so we got a couple of shots in for that, too! Though the pictures and edits were a bit calming with an ominous feel, it was just a bit scary walking through this field with fire; if I fell, I could have easily lit the field on fire. Hence, "Arsonist's Lullaby."
